Robust visual system and template library | hopkinsathome.jhu.com
Johns Hopkins Alumni Association came to us seeking an elevated visual system for use in their Hopkins at Home video library. We created a robust template package including files for event images, video covers, campus TV graphics, email thumbnails and Instagram story posts, each with a full variety of color palettes, text / title lengths, and options for text only / no images, up to four images, and everything in between. Examples shown here are just a small preview of the templates provided.
Johns Hopkins is dedicated to advancing global democracy through discovery, education, dialogue, and public service. This system draws on the diverse research, perspectives, and expertise of JHU’s students, faculty, staff, and alumni, presenting them through structured yet distinct “frames” or “lenses.” Secondary brand colors are used dominantly within gradients to categorize events. Thin rule lines serve as secondary design elements, subtly representing the analytical nature of research, planning and discovery.
